Master Class is designed for students, musicians and auditors. The number of activ participants is limited quantity of 16 person. Enrolment will follow the order in witch registration are recieved in online registration form. If active participation is not possible (because of capacity reasons), it is recommended to take the part as pasive participant in the class as audition.
The scheduling of the course is conceived in to an open lessons for single players as in to the conjoint lessons for all participators too. All lessons are mainly directed to a world soloist double bass literature of all periodes.For every course participator is a pianist available, his is attented on the lessons as well. In the course finish will be realized a summary concert of Gary Karr together with all course participators and guests, prominent Slovak double bass players ass well.
Course fees:
Active participant: 600eur/ week
Pasive participant – auditors: 50eur/day
For the members of Slovak Double Bass is pasive participation 50% reduction of prise
The course fee is to be paid promptly after registration. Each participant will recieve a confirmation after all assembling of payments. (bank transfer)
Cancellation fees/ storno poplatky:
If registration is cancelled, the registration fees (course and accomodation costs) will be reinbused according to the following schedule:
up to 4 weeks before the master class begins: 75%
up to 3 weeks before the master class begins: 50%
up to 2 weeks before the master class begins: 25%
After this term there will be no refunds!

Accomodation: All participants have two possibilities of accomodations: Hotel and student hostel.
Hotel/ Hotel: Single room with breakfast: 45 eur/day, Double room with breakfast: 35 eur/day
Student Hostel: Single room: 15eur/day Double room:12eur/day
